Sour IPA with Blackberry and dry-hopped with Cashmere You have probably heard of a litter bug… You know, someone who doesn’t seem to care about disposing of their trash in the proper receptacle, but you may not know about glitterbugs. These are people who live their lives so fabulously that they leave a trail of glitter everywhere they go. Grocery shopping? Glitter in aisle 5. Gas station? Glitter on the pump, Brunch? Glitter on the eggs benny. Glitterbug.

Pours a hazy, mild red with a lingering one finger head. Aroma is lightly berry scented. Taste is a bitter sour with a faint aftertaste of berries. Mouthfeel is on the light side. That bitter sourness lingers both in the front part of the taste and then again at the end.

Appearance: Murky dark orange, big head with a slight pink hue.
Smell: Sour citrus fruit.
Taste: Starts with a little sweetness, then switches to a sweetened sour flavor. Reminds me of the sour candy Smarties. The sourness is pretty mild, and I keep wanting another drink. Finishes with continuing sweet/sour flavor.
Overall: My first sour IPA, I like it a lot more than I expected to! I’m not a big sour/tart beer guy but this one must have enough sweetness to make me enjoy it more. Maybe I’ll have to try some more of these crazy things.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange red with a small white head. Smells of sour citrus fruit. Tastes of fresh sour citrus, a nice blend, not too sweet or sour. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.
