Had poured from crowler, filled at the Five Wits tap room, Chattanooga, into goblet.
Pours amber with clarity and 1-finger creamy off-white head, with good retention, leaving a few specks of lace. Aroma of some hop spice, piquant stone fruit and light roast malt. Begins with mild carbonation over creamy body, then fruit and hop bite arrive together, joining light roast malts, before some alcohol burn dries up the crisp finish.
Just a big ol' spicy, fruity, malty maibock, that we need to see again.
