Mixed-Fermentation with a bavarian wheat yeast and our favourite new england yeast strains. Double Dryhopped with Sabro and Bru-1. A lot of wheat and oat malts.
Result: Incredible creamy and velvety mouthfeel plus huge tropical aroma like coconut, banana, lemongras and mango!

Pours a hazy, deep orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity, slightly bready malt and soft tropical/citrus hops, with just a hint of estery fruit and notes of coconut, pineapple, grapefruit and banana. Taste follows the nose, with an excellent balance of biscuity, bready malt, tropical, citrus hops and fruity, spicy yeast esters, with notes of coconut, pineapple, grapefruit, lemongrass, banana and clove, as well as just a hint of herbal accents. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some coconut, lemongrass and clove lingering in the aftertaste. Soft, pillowy mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is actually quite a nice, well-balanced combination of a New England IPA and Weizenbock that brings both juicy, tropical/citrus hops and fruity/spicy yeast esters to the table, although the hops are perhaps just a bit dominant here. The Sabro and Bru-1 lend that typical, pina colada mix of coconut and pineapple notes to this, which do not feel overpowering though, being nicely balanced by some zesty and slightly herbal and spicy lemongrass and clove accents, with a good bitterness in the finish. While heavily dry-hopped Weizenbocks aren't that much of a rarity anymore, I really feel that this strikes an excellent balance of flavors, while also featuring a rather nice, soft and pillowy mouthfeel.
