Collaboration with Fuerst Wiacek.
Digital Collab Series 1/5.
After turbulent weeks we are very happy to release a new series. DIGITAL COLLAB consists of 5 different beers that we have created with craft beer brewer friends from all over Europe. Why digital? Actually, collabs between 2 breweries go like this: You get to know each other at a craft beer event, you're on the same wavelength, you drink 1, 2, 10 beers together and then you get the idea to brew one together. Corona wasn't really up for it, but we were...
The first DIGITAL COLLAB beer is a very special one for several reasons. We put our heads together digitally with Georg and Lukaz from FUERST WIACEK, who have collaborated with pretty much every famous international brewery so far, but have yet to collaborate with one from back home. For a few weeks we exchanged experiences via email and phone, philosophised about brewing techniques and, of course, concocted a brilliant hop combination. The result is a double dry-hopped Double IPA with Citra, Vic Secret and Strata. Super fruity, resinous, creamy, 8.1% alcohol.
The unique artwork is also special. Georg's four-year-old daughter Mona was so kind and easily provided a graphic for the label.
Fittingly, we named the Double IPA CO-SHARENTING - a word creation from Co-Parenting and Sharenting, which has never been done before.

Greetings from starstar11: an American living in Thailand.
First things Fuerst, Congratulations and thank you to Mona for her amazingly beautiful label artwork. If it wasn’t for your cute label design, I may never have had the opportunity to buy and drink this wonderful DIPA beer.
After seeing the label, I read the amazing beer review by Snowcrash000 who clearly knows more about craft beers than I will ever know. I totally agree with Snowcrasher’s review: this is a truly yummy double IPA and my congratulations to the two German brew wizards who collaborated in creating
Co-Sharenting.

Pours a hazy, deep orange coloration with a medium, fluffy, lasting head that leaves tufts of wispy lace as it slowly receeds. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical/citrus notes of passion fruit, papaya and grapefruit, as well as a disctinct dankness also coming through. Taste is an excellent balance of light biscuity malt and rather fruity, juicy, dank and slightly resinous hops, dominated by tropical and lighter citrus notes of passion fruit, papaya, pineapple, grapefruit, lime peel, as well as grassy weed and just a hint of pine resin. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some passion fruit, grapefruit and weed lingering in the aftertaste. Soft, pillowy mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is a fantastic New England IPA, definitely one of the best I've ever had from a German brewery. Not only is it incredibly juicy, with very vibrant, well-defined hop aromatics, but it also has a superb, soft and pillowy mouthfeel, which really stands out here, especially since so few German breweries manage to get this right. It's very well balanced as well, with some sweet juiciness upfront, but finishing with a light bitterness, quite distinct dankness and just a hint of pine resin. Everything just works together so well here and while there is a very light hop burn to this, it honestly doesn't feel abrasive at all. Personally I can actually enjoy a very light hop burn, which I prefer to call "hop bite". Not a hint of booziness or overripe notes to this either.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
