Collaboration with Blech.Brut, PZDK Brew.
War in Europe was unimaginable for us. So we want to use the last part of our DIGITAL COLLAB series with @pzdk_brew to support the Ukrainian people. To draw attention. And to send a message. For peace. For freedom. For community. For solidarity.
Therefore, we have decided to donate the net proceeds from this beer to the NGO VOSTOK S.O.S, who launched an extensive aid operation for Ukraine.

Pours a hazy, dark orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical/stone fruit hops, with notes of papaya, pineapple and peach, as well as a distinct, floral potpourri accent. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, floral and slightly resinous hops, with tropical, stone fruit and citrus notes of papaya, pineapple, peach and grapefruit, as well as some potpourri and hints of pine. Finishes with a light bitterness and some papaya, peach, grapefruit and potpourri lingering in the aftertaste. Soft, pillowy mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
Another excellent NEIPA from Atelier VRAI (formerly der Braukünste), that is not quite to my personal taste though. Intense aroma in the nose, with some quite vibrant and juicy hops on the tongue, as well as a great, soft and pillowy mouthfeel. While hops are not listed for this beer, I would bet any kind of money that Talus is featured heavily here, as I'm getting that floral potpourri note that I associate with the variety quite distinctly and I'm not a big fan of it, although I do like that light, resinous undertone and ripe tropical and stone fruit notes to this. Perhaps some Nectaron in here as well.

2 weeks old. Can to pint glass.
Look: Pours a hazy, slightly brownish, dark yellow with a foamy white head that dissipates quickly and leaves some lacing. No floaters.
Smell: Apricot, white grapes and apple. Sweet and fruity, but also somehow herbal.
Taste: Apricot again, but this time accompanied by melon, guava and overripe tangerine. Sweet with a slightly bitter finish.
Feel: Full and juicy. A bit sticky. Low carbonation.
Overall: As all net proceeds from the sale of this beer go straight to an NGO in Ukraine, this beer serves a great cause. Tastewise, it is a nice DIPA that hides its 8.1% ABV quite well and drinks like a sweet mixed juice. The combination of various ripe fruits and herbal notes is an interesting one. I still prefer their citrusy brews, but quite enjoyed this one as well.
