Can I be in favor of arms supplies but against war? Am I then still a pacifist? Do weapons promote peace or do they promote war? Is war better or genocide better? Are women more peaceful than men? Is an unjust peace still better than a just war? Does it really make sense to lick a beer can?

Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical, citrus, stone fruit hops, with notes of passion fruit, papaya, grapefruit and peach, as well as hints of earthy accents. Taste is an excellent balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly earthy and resinous hops, with tropical, citrus and stone fruit notes of passion fruit, papaya, grapefruit, orange and peach, as well as hints of black tea and pine. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some passion fruit, grapefruit and hints of black tea and pine in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

This is a NEIPA right after my own heart and proves to me once more that Atelier Vrai (formerly Atelier der Braukünste) is making the best NEIPAs in Germany right now. IT has got that great balance of fruity, juicy and earthy resinous notes to it that I love, while finishing with a good bitterness. The hops stand out quite vibrant and well-defined here, with just a tiny bit of hop burn in the aftertaste that is hardly worth mentioning though. Drinking this makes me feel that I must have been wrong about assuming a 9-month BB-date for their beers, because there is no way this is 6 months old. Or perhaps they truly are brewing geniuses, but it's probably the former.
