Pours an entirely clouded pale yellow with a medium sized eggshell colored head.
Offers an intriguing bouquet of fruit forward and herbal hops defining the aromas of this, together with additional lime zest, orange blossom and fresh baked birthday cake.
The mouthfeel on this is mellow, smooth and creamy, adding to the appearance of the body, while a well developed effervescence establishes a balancing refreshment.
Tastes of bitter lime pulp, blazing unripe exotic fruits, sun sweetened oranges and calming white bread dough. Its mid palate turns even drier then with dried herbs among grapefruits and balancing bright spring honey. Its finish leads with a soothing shokupan bread like soft- and sweetness, entangled into maintaining bitter to noble hops, adding a pleasant crispness to the multi layered fruitiness in this.
This is a bold, almost untamed, yet perfectly balanced example of an intense, versatile and multi layered New England IPA. Its well developed, strong headed hop bitterness manages to stay fascinating from the beginning till the end.
