Tradewinds Brewing Company

Store front brewery on the main drag with small L-shaped bar on the left hand side that seat 5 or 6 and a few table along the opposite wall. 10 beers on tap, I especially like the double IPA. Friendly bartender, cans and crowlers to go.

There on a Monday night and it was me and Kevin the bartender. Small place,maybe 5 stools at the bar. 8 beers on tap, diverse selection plus some in cans. Had an oats ipa and short pour of Porter. Both were good. Had a great conversation with Kevin. Definitely a place to check out of in town.

 

Stopped by yesterday, as part of a quest for all the Craft Aid beers on Eastern Long Island. Last time I visited, it was still Crooked Ladder Brewing Company, but Tradewinds is clearly different, with what I took as a very easy, laid back vibe, perfect for the area. The serving space is elongated, so there is plenty of room for social distancing, plus there is additional sidewalk seating. Tried New Guy! which was delicious. The owner and service staff were very solicitous and helpful. Like the nautical theme. Definitely worth a trip when on the East End.
