Pours an unfiltered, pale golden color with a fluffy, stable head.
Smells of mashed potatoes, wet grass and white bread dough among lighter straw and gentle toffee.
Drinks smooth and refreshing with a light and well nuanced body.
Tastes of matured, dry hops, lingering hay and soothing whole grain bread, together with a subtle, nutty toffee appearance. Turns a little sweeter then, due to a well nuanced, effervescent carbonation, which tones down the hops effectivly by producing a mineralic quality. Finishes with lasting, earthy toffee and playful caramel, gusts of dough and just a dry, meaningful hint of botanical hops.
Well made, with a fantastic balance to it, providing a great, smooth and creamy mouthfeel.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a thick white head - surprising for a cask beer. The smell is straw and gooseberries, some clean earth. The taste is simple but nice, grain and minerals and a little stone fruit. It's fizzy for the style, medium bodied. A nice beer.

Half litre bottle poured into beer krug. Pale colour with a medium thick head. Initial strong cork smell gave way to saaz and fruit. Tasted sweet, had a wheaty finish. Had a fairly smooth mouthfull with medium carbonation. Overall this is a solid but uncomplex beer which works well on a hot day.
