From Carrefour. In Teku glass. After dinner. Much better than expected from their other brews. Nice toasted notes with caramel and good compesating bitterness. A bit light bodied with some slight metallic notes that dont ruin notes. 2 months after bbf date.

From 2013: This dunkel pours dark brown with creamy beige head and nice lacing. Mellow roast grain aroma and taste, lingering finish. Not too bitter, and easily drinkable.

Light brown color with a fluffy head with medium retention.
Aroma with notes of hay, chocolate, nuts and floral notes.
Flavor with mild notes of chocolate, bread crusts, spicy and floral hops, a bit of caramels and grapes. Dry aftertaste with a low to medium bitterness.
Light body with good carbonation.
Enjoyable and very easy to drink, but it lacks depth and body.

330ml bottle. Footed Flute glass. Dark amber color, reddish brown tints to the light. Tan, close & thick crown. Copious rings on sides. Toasted & floral aromas. Toasted malty upfront, rounded by subtle chocolate hues. Light body. Moderate to soft carbonation.Watery mouthfeel. Low floral bitterness arises in the middle & lingers into a sweet finish. Watery texture ruins the beverage throwing flavors & aromas away.

appearance: Convenient 12 oz strange for Germany but OK. REALLY dark like what night looks like WOW. No real head to speak of
smell: Dark malty almost smokey smell. Very rich with some earth hints
taste: Real tannins in there with nothing to hold them back. Strange and not pleasant
mouthfeel: Hangs around but not in a good way just tasting leathery tannins
overall: I would not buy this brew its not good seriously
