On-tap at GI Belgian Beer Fest. Served in a pint-shaped taster glass.

A - Good-looking brew. Big creamy foam that settles to a thick cap and glass-coating lace. Hazy dark orange body.

S - Super peppery and phenolic. Mostly yeast and a touch of vomit. There are some fruity esters in the periphery.

T - Taste is a touch better. Mostly bland bready malts and yeast, but thankfully not as harsh as the aroma.

M - Body is surprisingly heavy for the 4.8% ABV - medium-full. Slightly grainy texture, and pleasant active carbonation.

D - Just not a very good beer. If you can get past the slightly unpleasant smell it's merely average. Another mediocre offering from Finch's.
