Copenhagen 28/5 2022. 44 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. Fuzzy pictures of people with 3D glasses on a can. Could be thew cover of a long forgotten Depeche Mode album.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of lightly fermented Stone fruits mingling with a subdued scent of citrus fruit. Overripe mango and peach. Alcohol and a bit of decay. Whiff of lemonade and a little citrus.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Potent, fermented and fruity. Good one.
