Copenhagen 16/5 2022. 44 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. What looks like a desert landscape with brown sand and a deep blue sky on the can.
Pours unclear - almost hazy golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a light odor of stone foot mingling with a more prominent scent of citrus fruit. Sweet peach. Soon overpowered by star citrus and lime. Floral notes of elderflower.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is tart and bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Pretty sour and a bit searing NEIPA
