Pours a pale gold color. Slightly cloudy, but still somewhat clear. Thick frothy white head forms on the beer and sticks around for a bit before eventually dissipating completely. Aroma has notes of straw, white bread, and some sweet malty notes. The hops bring some herbal spiciness and a subtle hint of pineapple. At least on the nose these hops work really well in the pilsner.
Taste follows the nose with notes of straw, white bread and sweet grainy malts. That gives way to spicy, herbal hop notes with a touch of mild fruitiness that has notes of lemon and pineapple. You get a woody, acidic like character from the pineapple-like notes. Again, works really well with the pilsner. Feel is light, crisp, and easy drinking. A real crispy boi.
Overall another excellent pilsner from Goldfinger.

Canned 10/10/22
A: Frothy, 2+ finger eggshell white head which recedes slowly. Light honey in color. Transparent.
S: Sharp burst of citrus and pineapple as advertised.
T: Bready malts with sharp notes of citrus peel (lemon, pineapple)
M: Crisp. Light body. Carbonation on the lower end.
O: Nicely refreshing (on a 70 degree November day!). The hops added a citrus brightness to the proceedings, both in aroma and taste. Looking forward to future iterations in this series.

Canned 10/10/22; drank 10/26/22 @ the Yarchives.
See-through dull orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a huge, noisy white head which quickly dissipated; frothy lace.
Bread, fresh corn & mild lemon notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.

16oz can, dated 10.10.2022, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass.
The beer pours a bright golden color, lemon and honey hues with a nice clear complexion, many bubbles rising to the top of the glass where a few fingers of fluffy white head rests with excellent retention and lacing. The aroma is great, bright citrus, wildflower, earthy green hop, lightly herbal, plenty of soft pilsner malt and crisp mineral water. The flavors are very good, super bright and floral, citrus peel, herbal tea, grass clippings, pine, wildflower with a great base of doughy pilsner malt and a mineral water bite. The mouthfeel is good, lively and crisp lighter medium body, coating, vibrant with a dry bite at the finish.
Verdict: A great Pils from Goldfinger. A more bright and hoppy take on the style and the Polish hops really shine.

Looks incredible, huge billowing head after a slow pour. Chunky lacing, lasting foam.
Aroma of puffed rice cereal, similar taste of bland soggy cereal grains, earthy bitter noble hop, aftertaste of wet hay. Mellow feel, light body, lower carb. Not much nuance. The puffed rice smell and taste are a little odd for the style, and the hops aren't assertive enough.
I’ve had plenty of Polish pale lagers over the years, and this fits the bill, it just doesn’t really improve on the style. It feels a little "emperor's new clothes" dressing up something basic for a new audience, it's nothing exotic and purely utilitarian. So far it's my lowest rated Goldfinger out of a dozen or so.
