Subtle spice, soft sweetness, and dark fruit depth. Winter without the weight. We designed this lager to hit the desired notes of wintery palates without the alcohol strength so you can enjoy several in a session. The perfect easy beer to enjoy as the weather cools down.
This beer uses rye malt grown and malted in Indiana by Sugar Creek. The spice from the rye serves as a great complement to the French Barbe Rouge hops. Like a piece of toast with orange marmalade.

I had this on draft 11/13/25 @ the Hopleaf.
See-through dark orange appearance.
Minimal eggshell-colored head; minimal lacing remained.
Burnt leaves & malt vinegar notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.

More autumnal than wintery to me, but unique & overall enjoyable.
