Inspired by the dark beers of Poland, this Baltic-style porter is a showcase of Polish ingredients and brewing techniques. Flavors of chocolate and molasses greet the palate, followed by an herbal and subtle stone fruit hop flavor and finishes with a caramelized sugar and roasted malt. A beer whose origins come from English strong porters that were exported to a region where lager brewing was more common, thus a lager yeast fermented strong porter was born.

Pouring clear dark red but filling to deceptive black with a fairly short but uniform tan foam head.
Malt gives some cocoa, even malted milk chocolate, while yeast some licorice, countered by a woody and resinously strong ass bitterness, yet not quite piney.
Bold and unapologetic, but also quaffable and lighter in feel, it's almost like a black IPA.
