Appearance has a light straw golden white head dwindles quickly leaves thin lacing behind. Aroma is zesty with a touch of Saaz hops and is balanced with a mild grainy sweetness. Taste: All grain pre-prohibition medium bitterness herbal grassy hop flavor soothing light 2 row sweetness. Mouthfeel has a lighter body with even carbonation. Drinkability is refreshing nice light pilsner almost more helles than pils but definitely has the signature Saaz hopage so it's ok I'll let it slide.

Got the Marietta Pilsner on tap at The Union in Athens, OH.
Appearance: virtually no head off the tap; had a gold color as I expected a pilsner to have; not too impressive
Smell: some of that macro lager smell but without the skunkiness and other gross stuff you smell with a macro
Taste: Good; I was very impressed with this beer; pilsner is one of my least favorite styles of beer (American and European); but this is definitely the best one I've ever had; mild presence of hops with a little bit of fruitiness is the best way to describe the taste; there was no skunkiness at all with this beer; the closest "well known" beer i can compare the flavor to is Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold
Mouthfeel: good texture, not overpowering at all
Drinkability: good, i could drink a few of these in a night
Overall, a good quality beer, with much more flavor than most pilsners.

A very nice brew, I even took a growler home with me.
Arrived a deep golden offering with very limited carbonation and a minor glass ring. The taste was very well balanced finishing slightly to the hops. The body was full.
This brew was very smooth, creamy and enjoyable.
Recomended!

This briliant golden beer was served with a thin white head that showed average retention. The carbonation formed very large bubbles on the bottom of the glass. The aroma is very light, with just a hint of herbal hops. The taste is very smooth and malty, with just a touch of bitterness on the finish. Smooth mouthfeel, maybe just a touch undercarbonated, or perhaps the large bubbles don't enhance the mouthfeel properly. Good drinakbility. This is their lighter lager, and it is one of the more enjoyable lighter lagers I've had.
