Open Field pours a bronze color with a small fizzy head. The aroma is fresh, bright cereal, dank, and hints of earth. The flavor is lovely, fresh cereal, with a lot of earth, dank, and noticeable bitterness. Good feel. Overall, it is an earthy and dank, more traditional IPA.

Touted as a West Coast IPA. Not hazy with a dense head. This is not a C-hop IPA but using newer tropical hops so the aroma is juicy and fruity. So the flavor follows suit which was disappointing. Not a lot of character. Clean and relatively dry. Not much for malt or bitterness. Well brewed but not what I want in an IPA.
