Remember the brewery more than the beer. Good solid beer but nothing out of the ordinary. Had 4 or 5 years ago.

this place is rad, the folks who served us were first rate, and i liked a lot of their beers very well, but i was least impressed with the hoppy stuff, not that this isnt good, but of the many that we drank here, these were easily the least memorable. its sunny yellow colored, middle of the road in terms of haziness, and with an average white head on it too, sort of an unassuming pour. the nose is nutty from the grain, bready, dry enough, but sort of english and fuller than many too, even without what i usually get from oats and the grains that make these starchy and fluffy, and the hops are herbal, a little bitter, hints of tea and maybe sage, a little soapy ester from the ferment too which doesnt belong but is sort of flattering to the hops, subtle. the flavor is good, i like the grain build of this, a little different to me, more baked or toasted or something, but not heavy, and still on the dry side. the hops are more bitter and less dry hoppy than most hazy types, but the proportions are good and i dont mind the kick. light lemon and orange on the back end, a pretty quick finish, just a little zizzle to the ferment, one of their only beers not totally tidy in this regard, but its not way off. good carbonation, a little oil on the palate, a hint of melon rising up late, slightly sticky there, different from most which i dig, but not quite well executed enough for the uniqueness to pop. good not great, drinkable, intriguing.
