Bad Dog Brewing Company

 

Visited in the middle of the afternoon, so it was pretty quiet. Located right in the center of Torrington. Lots of interesting Firehouse/Firemen decor, including an old fire truck inside the brewery! Quite large, with two floors open for seating. 12 beers available on tap, with a nice variety of styles. We had a pint of beer each, then had a flight of 4 beers to sample. Really enjoyed our brief stay, look forward to another visit, when we have more time to relax and enjoy the brewery.

Located in an old brick firehouse near the heart of downtown, the place has a bit of a club house cafe vibe... lots of small tables and a small stage area for live music. The placement of the antique firetruck leave a lot to be desired. Small bar along the right hand wall. Only 6 house beers on tap, and another six guest taps. I had their Pale ale... a bit undercarbinated. Food truck on side of building.
