From humble foundations, this crafted sour ale represents a new beginning. A fruited sour ale conditioned on blackberries, marshmallows, cinnamon, and coffee; the passion and craft behind Revenant leave a thirst to return for more. Contains lactose.

WOW. Woven Water is a new brewery but I expect they will do well. Glad to get to try some of their stuff within a few weeks of the taproom opening to the public in these COVID-19 days.
Beer pours a purple plum color with a frothy pinkish head that dissipates quickly leaving no lacing or ring.
Smell is incredible. Slight berry, vanilla, cinnamon, rich coffee and a touch of acidity. Totally blew my mind for a purple colored sour.
The taste opens with slight sourness blended with sweet cinnamon and vanilla, the coffee is not as prevalent as with the initial smell but it is there in a nice balance, finish is a nice blend of marshmallow, cinnamon, coffee, berry and a sour ending.
Medium prickly carbonation with a medium mouthfeel and a slight coating on the palate.
The blend of sour, berry, cinnamon, marshmallow and coffee just works! Very good beer, if you get a chance try this. Not like anything I have seen before.
