Deliciously sculpted from peaches, graham crackers and soft serve flavoring, Woven Water wastes no time looking at summertime flavors with their sour ale that's a peaches and cream dream bar but in drinkable form.
Their Peach Graham Cracker Vanilla Soft Serve Fusion Sour Ale is both a mouthful to say and in flavor. But starting off, the turbidly milky beer haze lighter shades of golden, taupe and yes... peach. With a bounty of prescribed peaches and cream, savory graham cracker and a yogurt-like tartness soothes the senses, the taste leads in with a creamy sweet upstart of vanilla, graham cracker, honey, shortcake and taffy.
As the flavors more and more favor the fruit and cream additions, the nuanced tartness of green apple, lemon, lime, gooseberry and passionfruit become secondary flavors in comparison. Heavy cream coats the tongue before a late twist of acidity attempts to bring the peachy zing into a refreshing realm. As the taste subsides, its the essence of graham cracker that has a final say..
Full bodied, especially for sour ale, this beer is more of a smoothie with ale pieces and parts. Its a sweet and tart taste that finishes soothing, silky and vanilla-like with an soft aftertaste of graham cracker and peach milkshake.
