Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate tulip. No canning date that I can see.
Appearance: murky, chunky, hazy, opaque, pinkish-tan hue. No head; just, like, chunks left on the glass as lace. I am given to understand that this is how it is supposed to look.
Smell: this beer’s ingredients are strawberry shortcake and vanilla ice cream, and there is absolutely no doubt of that when it comes to the aroma. It is absolutely what it says on the tin, and by that measure is a great success, though I mean, most beers of this style seem to be pretty faithful to the concept.
Taste: it disgusts me to say that I like this beer. OK, that’s too harsh — but I am surprised. The level of sweetness is high, for sure, but there’s enough sourness to keep this beverage interesting. It definitely does not adhere to what a “beer” traditionally is, though again, that’s just the nature of the style. But, it’s tasty, and like I said, there is no lie in its name — this is strawberry rhubarb ice cream.
Mouthfeel: lots of body, very little carbonation — again, a hallmark of the style in my (limited) experience. That said, it’s got a good thiccness.
Overall: I am new to this style, for the most part, and still have a hard time wrapping my head around it as a “beer”. But hey, if “strawberry shortcake vanilla ice cream” appeals to you as a beer flavor, then this beer will absolutely deliver.

Sweet and slightly tart strawberry, strawberry Starbursts, strawberry shortcake, and a vanilla icing nose on this one! Yum! Great aromatics! Taste follows almost exactly...with the strawberry notes a little less intense...the strawberry creamsicle notes are there, just not as large and in charge as I was expecting. It does have a nice and creamy mouthfeel to it! The nose>taste here but still really good!
