Look - Pours a super dark black color with a nice brown head that sticks around for less than a minute.
Smell - Vanilla, dark chocolate, dark fruit, and a nicely light hint of bourbon. Very nice!
Taste - Malt, vanilla, dark fruit, dark chocolate, and once again - just a nice light hint of bourbon.
Feel - Very smooth, nicely creamy, a surprisingly easy sipper for a 14.4%ABV stout.
Overall - This was a pleasant surprise. Private Press was out of their Beyond Forever, so I picked up a bottle of this instead. I'm glad I did, this is really a fabulous stout!
