Obsidian black with a short but fairly well retaining head of burnt tan, crackly bubbles.
This exhibits barrel vanillin in stunningly detectable spades. After having just tried Humble Sea 9 for Nine, which is chock full of actual vanilla, that's saying A TON. Countering notes of spiced date dark fruits and char interplay wonderfully. I can't get over the fact that the vanillin (from oak only?!) is of the deepest, funkiest Madagascar. The exhale is of a cleansing heat and tannin.
And it's served at the perfect fucking temperature--would ya look at that?! The WarmDraftMilitia is disarmed.
