Happened to be passing through, and noticed this newer brewery in the area. Cozy inside, wood floors and tables, small balcony with occasional live music. L-shaped bar to the right, and the brewery was sectioned off in the back left corner. Behind the bar was a faux ivy-clad wall holding a bank of 12 or so taps and a well stocked to-go cooler of cans.
Selection was pretty good, highlights included a peach kettle sour ale, dark mild, and west coast IPA. Service at the bar was friendly and attentive, several tasters were served up fast. I left with a few to-go cans. Quality was pretty good.
Overall a solid local option in Lockport, along a bustling strip of renewed new and old businesses. A new Tangled Roots location popped up directly across the street a year after Nik & Ivy opened. Kinda tacky, but I guess that's their schtick.

Just opened up during this difficult Summer of 2020. this brewery is located in an old brick storefront in Historic Lockport, Illinois. Outside tables were on the side walk where I tasted a fight of beers. Parking around the corner. The first week that they have opened, will visit again in months to come.
