This beer was first brewed in 2014, as a collaboration brew with Ratsherrn. In 2015 it has been brewed again, as a Maisel & Friends Seasonal beer.
This is the original predecessor to their Weizen IPA (formerly Citrilla), which was only available in 22oz bottles and came at a slightly higher gravity.

Copenhagen 8/8-2017. 33 cl bottle from Meny. Plain label stating that this is " A Union of Bavarian Wheat Beer and American India Pale Ale".
Pours hazy golden yellow with big white bubbly head. Settles as very thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. No Lacing.
Aroma is strong and dominated by tart and sour odors. Almost acidic. Citrus, hints of grapefruit and unripe berries.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by quite distinct tart sourness. Aftertaste is medium bitter.
Refreshing citrussy beer - more Bavarian wheat beer than American IPA.
