Pours a light amber, coppery coloration with a medium, creamy head. Smells of biscuity malt and tropical/citrus fruits, with hints of bubble gum and pine. Taste follows the nose, with a nice balance of slightly dank, fruity hops and biscuity malt. Notes of tropical and citrus fruit: pineapple, mango, grapefruit, tangerine and pine. Finishes with a medium bitterness, medium body and carbonation.
This really grew on me as I drank it. The different hop varieties are nicely balanced and work together well, giving this a very fresh, fruity taste with light dank, resinous notes. Not very boozy at all, very nice DIPA, especially at the price point.
