Their 6th Collaboration brew. Pours a clear solidly amber color with a nice white head that lasts a while. Notes of citrus and malts in the nose. The mouth gets a some citrusy bitterness over a nice malt base. light lingering pleasant aftertaste.

Pours a cloudy, deep amber coloration with a large, lasting head. Smells of biscuity, caramel malt and citrus/tropical/berry hops, with notes of tangerine, papaya and white grape, as well as some herbal accents. Taste is a good balance of biscuity, caramel malt and fruity, slightly floral and herbal hops, with citrus, tropical and berry notes of tangerine, lime peel, papaya, coconut, white grape and cranberry, as well as hints of potpourri and rosemary. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some tangerine, papaya, white grape and rosemary lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
I always enjoy the Hopfenreiter series, although it also always feels slightly overburdened due to the large number of hop varieties, which kinda makes the different notes mesh together a little too much, not feeling that well-defined. Nevertheless, this makes for another interesting and enjoyable DIPA with some citrus, tropical and berry notes, backed up by a solid malt backbone and finishing with a good bitterness.
