Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a one finger head of puffy white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is heavy of a bready and doughy smell mixed with a bit of caramel and some light harvest fruits. Mixed with these are a little bit of must and hay and some yeastiness.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and doughy flavor mixed with some graininess and a bit of sweetness of caramel and pear. At the same time there is a very light herbal and earthy hop adding a nice balance. Toward the end a touch of apple and peach and a bit of wood and oak join in, leaving one with a nice and moderately malty, but not too sweet or rich taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is slightly thicker and more chewy with a carbonation level that is moderate in nature. For the tastes and the style the feel is good, giving good drinkability and supporting the flavors nicely.
Overall – A nice brew with a good easy drinking nature and good taste.
