When living in perpetual beach mode, we're going to need a beer flavor to match and its the brewing team of Tidal Creek that provides such a taste in a German-styled wheat beer.
Pouring a sunny but lightly cloudy golden yellow, Harmonic Hefeweizen quickly releases a frothy swath of sea foam before teasing the nose with promises of citrus, orchard fruit, tropical fruit, soft spice and bread dough. Once on the tongue, its early impressions of cookie dough, wheat bread and honey provide a malty sweet upstart.
As the light and sunny ale washes the middle palate, the tastebuds are awash in dampening sweetness that couples with the fruitiness of green apple, lemon, banana and pear. Not to be overshadowed, a followup of clove, white pepper and light hops give balance against the fruitiness and takes more of an edge off of the relaxing sweetness as the ale closes with a nearly minty taste.
Medium bodied, loosing its carbonation and laying a little lumbered on the finish, the ale flattens out too soon while following with an aftertaste of wheat dough, citrus and light herbal bitterness.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of wheat, very light banana. Taste is the same as the aroma, a bit on the mild side. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Canned 2021/05/10
Can was over carbonated and squirts as I Crack it, huge foamy 3+finger head that fades slowly, messy lacing, hazy orange color
Nose creamy doughy wheat, honey, fair fruity esters with banana and a little citrus, light cake batter
Taste brings more creamy wheat, a little doughy, with more vanilla cake batter, some fruit esters although a bit lighter side, banana, citrus, little pear, light bitterness and grassy hop, dry finish
Mouth is med bod, creamy soft, med higher frothy carb
Overall not bad, pretty well done, wish the fruity esters were a bit higher, fermented a bit warmer, but that's my preference, and this is a fairly clean hefe
