375ml bottle, cage over cork. Dates on label 'Brewing season: 2019/2020, 2020/2021 & 2021/2022 Fruit season: 2022 Best Before: December 2032'.
Unfiltered, cloudy deep gold/apricot colored body. Brief lasting white head which fizzes away immediately, and leaves behind a small island and a bubble fed ring. No lacing.
Aroma is leather and tobacco funk, along with tart apricot and oak.
Taste is tart with stone fruit sweetness. Flavors follow the nose with apricot, lemon, oak, and widespread funk of leather and tobacco. No bitterness. Aftertaste dries out quickly.
Medium mouthfeel. Crisp through the mouth, and a very dry finish. Medium high tartness level. Good carbonation for the style.
Good use of apricot to blend with the yeast fermented flavors.
