Pours a hazy amber-bronze color, which looks hella oxidized, but may just be old school. Close to two fingers of creamy, off-white head that have great retention and leave pretty webbed lacing.
Strong sweet orange and a hint of pine show amidst a mildly skunky aroma.
Piney, peppery taste along some pretty strong caramel and a kiss of diacetyl. Fairly bitter finish for an APA.
Medium bodied with lightly prickly carbonation.
Bought it direct from the brewery an hour ago, but looking at the bottom now, I see it was put in the crowler exactly seven weeks ago. They handed it to me direct from the cooler; I didn’t pick it up. I’m annoyed. Doesn’t show much pride in their work or care for their customers, IMO.
