Casual, easy-drinking Pale Ale dry hopped with Cryo Cashmere hops. A simple grain bill allows for the candied hop presence to shine through. Never forget where you came from.

Hops: Cryo Cashmere; Malts: Pilsner, Wheat; Yeast: Kölsch.

OMFG! I have been awaiting this brewery's opening since they first CANnounced their presence & beCAN the extensive renovations that have resulted in this place! It is right on the corner of one of the busiest intersections in the city & replaces a host of former tenants that included, during my lifetime, a PP&G shop and most recently, a combination billiards hall & Phô restaurant as well as an awning dealership. This brewery represents a major step up, IMHO.

My CANpromised immune system (adult-onset asthma + prostate CANcer) means NO hanging out & so I grabbed a Crowler for takeaway.

This one is CANmonly abbreviated as "WYCF" & I will be using that designation henceforth.

I remembered yesterday's dribbling so after I Crack!ed open the vent on this oversized CAN that they call a crowler, I CANducted a slow, steady Glug from well above the awaiting glass. This minimized the dribbling while causing the creation of two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with very good retention. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4). Nose had a light grapefruit bitterness along with a moderate peachy fruitiness. Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was a mild bittersweet with the grapefruit & peach esters melding nicely. That said, it was no SNPA, which is the standard-bearer for the style. Plus, it just seemed like they were holding back, waiting for a response from the local audience. Personally, I would have gone a bit hoppier. Not so hoppy as to become an AIPA, but enough to give it a bit more OOMPH! It just tasted like it was falling short as I drank through this quart. Finish was semi-dry & quite refreshing. This is a beer with potential, but in its current iteration, it is kinda weak. YMMV.
