This traditional Southern English Brown Ale was built on a base of Maris Otter and is brought home with various English Crystal and Chocolate malts. Pull up a chair, we'd like to tell a story about a forgotten style of beer - brown ale.

Pours a dark tea, iced/tea color, the head and lacing are weak.
The flavor is pretty good though.
Mellow caramelized malt, a little fruity, sassafras tea, honeydew melon, kiwi, hints of white grape. Hints of black tea.
Bitterness is somewhat mellow, but balanced.

Lukr side-pull at the brewpub. Wonderful balance of malt and hops. I'll definitely be back for this one.
