Aged in Old Elk Bourbon Barrels for over two and a half years. A complex sipper with a huge malt presence and notes of sherry, fruit leather, and caramelized brown sugar.

L: Pours a dark reddish brown with a very small white head and no lacing on the glass.
S: Malty and caramel with a stronger bourbon, notes of rubbing alcohol and sherry. Lighter caramelized sugar. The booze is a bit overwhelming in the nose.
T: Caramelized sugar and strong bourbon, light rubbing alcohol, very boozy seems to overwhelm some of the base beer.
F: Can't quite describe it but the mouthfeel just feels off on this beer, I think it needs some more carbonation.
O: The barrel is a bit overwhelming on this beer, I would like to taste more of the base beer.
