Working my way through the apollo's, and this one is hot too. Idea was a sessionable barrel aged stout, problem is it tastes like it. Smell is huge burning bourbon, with semi-sweet chocolate, vanilla, tobacco, and charred wood. Taste is slightly better on this one with leather and cereal added. Body is thin where the malt should be and has major alcohol burn and astringent chocolate. Didn't pour as well as the original, body is less carbonated.
