Very pleased with this one...oddly was only able to find it in .33L bottles...a minority increment around here.
Nose is full of caramel malt with a bit of dry potpourri. Sweet throughout. Color is reflective of a malt heavy golden amber. Finishes with a mildy sweet aftertaste, forefront is bready and sweetly biscuity. Mouthfeel is full. I could drink this is large quantity quite easily.

According to the website this beer is brewed once a month on the night of the full moon. There are also Vollmond (full moon) parties at the brewery twice per year (March and October). The only description I could find on the beer is that it's bottom fermented. The style was my best guess, but I doubt it's brewed to a particular style.
Dark golden, almost copper, colored beer holds a few streams of tiny rising bubbles. Foamy off-white head fades briskly to a thin rim of bubbles. Slightly fruity aroma with a bit of caramel and spicy hops. I thought it was caramel, but the taste is more butterscotch. Either way there is a good bit of malt in this one. There are also some tea flavors from the hops, bit of fizz on the tongue from the carbonation, and a nice dose of alcohol in the finish. I'm not sure where the alcohol flavor is coming from in this 5.5% abv beer, but it fits in just fine. Tasty and quite drinkable.
