Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Just as with the Malty Assam, I have no idea what kind of flavor profile Grand Qimen tea provides, but I'm more than happy to get some idea here. This stuff pours a mostly clear brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose is almost nonexistent to me (when I gave a swig to VDubb, he got more than I did, so maybe my nose is acting up), but the ephemeral impression I do get resembles lemon water. The taste runs a rather similar parallel, with the strongest notes being lemongrass and lemon zest, tartness nonexistent, with some mild flowery and mineral water elements tossed in as the solvents. The body is a hefty light, with a light moderate carbonation and a liquid feel. Overall, a nice, almost refreshing beer, one that sacrifices the usual semi-sharpness of the pilsner's hops in favor of a more subtle tea effect. Not bad, really.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
