California brewed, Korean marketed and made in a more midwestern style, Dokkaebier has all their hoppy bases covered.
Hazy gold and off turbid, Dokkaebi IPA floats a frothy white cap before swooning the senses with a burst of radiant tropical, citrus, herbal and floral scent. First malty sips resonate on the palate with a dry wafer, honeysuckle and bready-sweet taste.
As the hop flavors build upon the middle palate, their fruit flavors simply expand- taking on flavors of orange, white grapefruit and lime. A more tropical medley of mango, apricot and passiofruit follow up the citrus before teasing the tastebuds with an herbal bitterness of black tea, verbena, sassafras and hemp to close.
Its candied fruit finish has a bitter balance of citrus peel and botanical herb, the dryness of the IPA strives for more west-coast flavor but the hop profile and level of bitterness is more midwestern, showing an IPA worthy of the brewery’s namesake.

Straw yellow in color. Nice white head with good lacing. Nose is very floral with hints of citrus. Taste is almost lemony. Not much bitterness immediately then a little bitterness builds.
