Not sure how transcendent that craft beer can be but I know of some hops that have stared into my soul. Hazy in it’s style and smoothly bitter, this Seoul inspired IPA is so much better than just Seoul-soul.
Featuring the heavily favored Citra hops, Hazy Seoul pours with a deeply hazy appearance before capping off with a creamy white cap. As a juicy, radiant and citrusy scent rises with branch-ripe tangerine, the scent soon follows with a crisp malt backbone of wafer, honey and fresh bread.
Receding sweetness and growing hops shows a quick transition toward fruity flavors once on the middle palate. A starburst of tangerine, blood orange and red grapefruit bring a racy citrus taste with hints of apricot and mango following closely behind. Trending herbal with lemon verbena, fresh spruce and hemp, the late taste is smoothly bitter but still crisp and refreshing.
Medium bodied but trending drier, the balance of the beer strives for something slightly more west coast in bitterness and dryness for a sharper edge to the haze.

Not the typical coloring of a hazy, more off gold in color. White head (of course). Nose is pure citrus, like fresh orange juice. Taste was not as strong on the citrus as expected. Zero bitterness.
