Had this beer poured from tap into a wine glass at the brewery. Always fun to see a gruit on tap and this one was enjoyable.
It is a clear yellow color with nice white head and curtain lacing. Strong herbal smell and taste. Starts sharp and very bitter but the flavors mellow with some warming. Flavor of anise, lemon and lime. Actually very refreshing.
