16oz can with no date - purchased at the brewery on 1-10-26. Opened 1-11-26.
Thin sand colored head that sits as a thin cap. Dark brown body with ruby highlights at the edges. Wispy lacing.
Mild aroma of roasted/charred malt and coffee grinds.
Bready malt, slightly sweet in the beginning, raisin, caramel, sourdough...tasty brew.
Medium body with low plus carbonation. Good, flavorful finish of all the components described above with a touch of sweetness.
Very Good.

Appearance: Black, fluffy khaki color head with good retention:

Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee

Flavor: Malty with roasted malt, coffee, and unsweetened chocolate flavors. Spicy hops, moderate bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, drying. Moderate length finish.

Overall: Solid dark Czech Lager. Rich flavors of roasted malt, coffee, & unsweetened chocolate. A little rough around the edges, not quite as easy drinking as many I've had but quite enjoyable.

Had this beer at the brewery from tap. Opaque dark brown with a foamy beige head and good curtain lacing. Subdued smell of toasted malt. Taste is also nicely toasted malt with a nice dry finish. A bit of chocolate. Overall a decent beer.

Deep, dark brown body, mostly opaque; one-finger thick head, dense and creamy texture. Slight aroma; soft cocoa and malt notes. Subdued flavors yet pleasant; light cocoa; mild roasted grain; bitter with a twinge of astringency at first but that fades as the beer warms. Heavy body; smooth and slippery.

This is a delightful dark lager, rich and luxurious with some nice refined elements.
