This is a beer that could be a contender. The flavor is rich and varied with a wonderful warm booziness, dark chocolate, dark berries, licorice and anise.
It was poured from a can purchased at the brewery into a tulip glass. Dark brown color with brief brown effervescent head and little lacing. The smell is of bourbon and dark chocolate but not with the same intensity as the taste. I was expecting a richer, fuller feel. Even with its faults this is a very good beer!
