This nutty stout has notes of almond, coffee, dark chocolate and hazelnut. When the need is high, you need this beer. Slightly boozy and a deliciously sweet finish.

Copenhagen 24/5 2021. 47,3 cl can from Ølkassen web-shop. Drawing of two heads - one upside down - with the top removed and a lot of nuts tumbling around.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small dark beige head. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a cake- and candylike sweet scent mingling with liqueur-like booziness. Chocolate-cake, brown sugar. Hints of banana. Sugar-laced pie with nuts.
Light carbonation. Thick, fat, viscous, creamy yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a sourish undertone. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry like dark chocolate.
More cake than nuts. More pastry than Stout.
