Ddh hazy dipa. Hopped with nelson hop sauce (whatever that is) citra, WCHB 102 (?) and nelson sauvin. Very rich and smooth velvety. Has that soft, creamy Nelson thing going on. You get this vanilla, white grape, fruit-ethereal quality but also a little green at the very end: The grape and the vine. The Brewer mentioned a banana note which I thankfully didn’t get. This beer tastes like yellow and white, like if you were tripping and could eat colors. There is a slight sweet and stinging acidic note in the finish, the strength of which varies sip to sip, that offsets the creaminess. You can chew on this one for a long time. long finish. This feels about right where you’d want it at 8%. Not too light, where the sweetness would overpower it and not too heavy to where it’s less fun to drink. I’m a big Nelson fanboy so this is up my alley. One of the better beers I’ve had from this high quality brewery.
