A malt forward Irish Red with little to no hop aroma or flavor. Notes of caramel and toffee sweetness.

I enjoy this style. It’s not as common as it used to be, and I appreciate when I see one. This one is a clear amber color with a slim head. The aroma has some malt, roasted notes, and bread. The taste is balanced. Light carbonation and medium body. This one is okay, but it had more potential.

Pours a brownish amber orange color with a small amount of khaki-colored head that fades fairly quickly. Smell has layers of toasty biscuits and caramelized sugar. Taste follows the smell with a nice, refined sweetness and a roasty maltiness. Closes with a low amount of bitterness and a medium-to-low carbonation feel.
The head and carbonation seem to fade quickly; I think it could use more carbonation for sure, but overall it is a great beer in a style (Irish Red) that is plagued with mediocre or downright awful beers. The balance between the malt, sweetness, and bitterness seems to be hard to get just right, but this beer is right on the mark.

On draft at the Tilted Skillet in Washington. Poured a clear, amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left some sudsy sheets on the glass. It smelled of toasted caramel and biscuity malt. Sweet toffee and caramel with a hint of roastiness and bitterness.
