Our Oatmeal Stout didn’t just waltz it’s way through the front door.
Deep Dark Color? Check.
Bold Body? It’s got body.
Bite? It’s got bite.
Blended with Care to smooth it all out? You bet.
Everybody says it’s looking good, and the brewer knows it’s understood…

From the 12oz bottle in a snifter via Bluejacket74---cheers dude!
This brew pours a murky dark brown with medium dark tea
highlights and a nice head of off white foam that settles to a
thick ring, thin dusty layer, and shows subtle lacing. Nose of
subtleties----dark roasted malts, caramel, faint dark fruit,
faint chocolate. Flavors expand on the nose with dark
fruit notes of blueberry and raspberry, light dark
chocolate, dark roasted malts, and subtle char with
light zesty hop notes. Nice mouth feel; medium
body, medium light carbonation, and a lightly
dry finish.
Overall, it is solid but is more in the vein of
an English oatmeal stout than the heavier
American brew, That said it is nice to have
had a chance to try it!
Cheers

12 ounce bottle, bottled on 5.27.20, purchased at the brewery last weekend. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown with a thin tan head that didn't stay around for too long. Decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice but subtle, the brew smells like roasted malt, caramel, oats and a bit of chocolate. Taste pretty much follows the aroma, but there's a hint of dark fruitiness noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. Have to say I liked this more when I tried it on tap at the brewery last weekend, fresher is better in this case.
