Light gold pour, quite large head. Nose sees berries and melon.

Taste is cantaloupe, little honeydew, mellow berry, light kilned malt, suggwstion of citrus. Medium bodied from the ABV. Finish has a resiny bite.

This was another keg pour from BeerNV. Paperback often has cooler artwork than the beer inside. Since this wasn't a can, the beer would have to stand on its own. No plus.

Pours a dark gold leaning into light amber like color structure. Sweet Emotion is probably the best Aerosmith song. 3/5" off white head. The aroma hit some milder berries and tropical notes typically indicative of Mosaic hops. Just seems to be a little on the low end side for this day and age of drinking a little drink and smoking a little smoke.

The taste was enjoyable. Light weed note, guava, blueberry, passion fruit. For not having a bittering hop it did a decent job and not being trubby. Good dry and crisp mouthfeel the entire glass. What seemed like a slightly maltier than average these days ipa, it still cut through it with some bitterness. I guess I enjoyed this more than their previous offerings. After looking at the artwork, I dunno man. Makes me pine for the BMC calendar girl days moreso than this shit.

Had Tucked in by Strangers poured from pint can, no date, into nonic pint.

Pours light yellow-gold with clarity and huge off-white head, with excellent retention, leaving a thick coating of Belgian lace down the glass. Floral aroma with a hint of mild malt off pour, then aromas of lime and fresh, sweet berries, and as warms a little tart stone fruit, a hint of spiciness and some pineapple. On tasting, begins sweet stone fruit, lime and a little resinous pine, which together carry over a noticeable but mild malt backbone, into a bit of tart stone fruit, and a moderately bitter, piney and resinous, slightly spicy West Coast finish.

A single hop would seem a limiting choice for a West Coast IPA, even for Mosaic, but it mostly works.

Picked up a single 19.2 oz can. No date on can.

Pours a golden copper in color with a lovely finger thick frothy head with very good retention, though it does eventually settle to a thin layer of lacing on top. Lacing also coats the glass as you drink, some of it sliding, some of it clinging. Carbonation looks average. An excellent appearance that hints at some balance. On point for the style.

Aroma is fresh. Tropical fruits, citrus, maybe a hint of berry and some herbal/pine in there as well. More pine as it warms. There's a roasted maltiness lingering in the background, but it mostly stays out of the way.

Taste follows the aroma well, although getting a lot more pine on the palate. Quite hoppy. Predominantly grapefruit rind and pine resin. There are some subtler fruit notes in there as well like lemon, tangerine, mango and berry. The malts feel present throughout, but are definitely overwhelmed by the hoppiness. If you really concentrate on them, you get some lovely roastiness, maybe a splash of honey. The alcohol definitely creeps in a bit as it warms. Being resinous, this one really sticks with you after the swallow with more grapefruit rind and a hint of roasted malts on the tongue.

This is medium bodied with average carbonation that feels a bit prickly on the tongue and has a bit of zest on the swallow. There's ample chewiness here and it drinks pretty smooth and creamy with a bit of a dry finish. This is absolutely a palate wrecker. Lots of hop oils left behind on the tongue. My stomach tells me this one is also a bit on the acidic side. One and done for me.

This brewery has great packaging, that's what initially drew me in. That and "West Coast style IPA", a category which I generally quite like. This is a really great example of the style, too. I've had quite a few beers lately that claim to be West Coast style, but there's always something off. Not this one, nailed it. Takes me back to my early beer drinking days in Southern California when breweries like Stone and Ballast Point were disrupting the IPA market. I'll have to find more from this brewery as I am intrigued. Cheers!

Pours a clear pale gold with a half finger of white foamy head that rapid dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Faint citrus aroma and taste. Slightly resinous on the end. Well carbonated, clean, dry finish.

16oz can. No discernible canning date. Sample from the brewery.

Pours fairly clear, golden-light amber in color with a creamy head. Big, fruity, tropical, herbal nose. First sip is smooth and creamy with a nice carbonation beneath and packed with ripe mango, berries, nectarine, grapefruit rind, and pine. Things get a bit resinous as the beer warms up. Malty backbone opens up too with toasted grains, honey, and bread that plays well with the fruity sweet base that gets a bit orangey with each sip. Quite bitter and a bit astringent. Finish is dry, ashy, and herbal.

Yeah, this is a damn solid West Coast IPA. Especially if you dig Mosaic hops. Also, I love the label art (three masked burglars tucking in a guy who's cringing while in bed), which is creepy AF. "Good night. Sleep tight. Don't let the strangers bite."

I'd let this beer tuck me in every night.

Pours a clear yellow amber with penty of foam in the Chimay chalice. Spritzy and tangy on the tongue. Some malt flavor with a mellow, grainy finish. Hops are fruity and aromatic. Tastes of mango and touch of lemon and the piney scratch.

This is pleasantly fruity and there is just enough bitterness to remind you it's an IPA. Overall, totally quaffable and eager to please. Another surprising favorite from a brewery new to me. From the 16 oz can.
