Pours a clear pale golden orange with two fingers of rocky head that dissipates to a thin cap with a fair bit of lacing. Aroma of tropical and citrus fruit with some grapefruit and pine resin on the tail. Taste follows nose. Very nice.

16oz can with no freshness dating. Sample from the brewery.
Bright, clear, pale golden beer topped with three fingers worth of foamy head and plenty of lingering lace. Soft fruity and floral nose. Medium-bodied, near syrupy on the tongue, creamy with some mellow carbonation. Super fruity base with white grapes, ripe stone fruits (some apricot and peach), juicy orange and pineapple, honey dew melon, citrus rinds, and a slight grapefruity edge. There's an oiliness in the back with some spicy and resiny notes too. The malty backbone with notes of toasted grains, honey, and bread crust plays well here and brings a complimentary layer of sweetness that gently pushes back on the hops. Maybe a bit too much. Finish is dry, spicy, herbal, ashy, oily, and really doughy as the beer warms up.
The aroma takes a back seat, the malt profile is trying to grab the wheel, and the finish is bit messy, but overall I dug where this West Coast IPA was initially headed.
